Verification Levels

• A checkmark rating (✅) certifies that this journey is 100% legitimate beyond any reasonable doubt. It follows all established verification rules and anyone can independently verify this judgment.
• A green rating (🟩) certifies that this journey is legitimate beyond reasonable doubt. It may not follow verification rules precisely, or it cannot easily be independently verified due to lost footage/digital decay, but it has been vouched for by the council and the community.
• A partial green rating (🟢) means that this journey is very likely to be legitimate. It may not meet verification requirements, but the evidence is strong enough to dispel most doubts about its legitimacy. Substantial footage is required for this rating.
• A yellow rating (🟨) means that this journey is quite likely legitimate. It fails to meet verification requirements, and legitimacy could not be fully verified. However, there is substantial evidence in line with a legitimate journey. Some footage is required for this rating.
• A partial yellow rating (🟡) means that this journey is likely legitimate. It fails to meet verification requirements, and legitimacy could not be fully verified. However, there is some evidence in line with a legitimate journey.
• A red rating (🟥) means that this journey is likely not illegitimate. However, it is lacking in evidence and greatly fails to meet verification requirements. Legitimacy could not be fully verified.
• An X rating (❌) means that this journey's legitimacy is unverified. These journeys either exhibited illegal behavior(s), or have little to no documentation pointing towards legitimacy. It may also mean we simply haven't looked at it yet, so be sure to read the specific reasoning listed.

A journey's verification level is determined by the popular vote of all currently verified Farlanders.

How do I increase my rating?

If your journey is in-progress, the easiest way is to walk more and be thorough in documenting your new progress. If your journey has already been completed, be sure to upload any additional footage or clips you may have saved and come talk to us about your journey.
